Most Respected Person Alive:I believe that everyone has something to offer in their own way. Consequently, It is hard for me to say who I respect most. There are a lot of people in this world whose name is unknown, yet they make more of an impact every day than any politician, leader, or businessperson ever will.
Who would I trade lives with: Just about anyone! I don’t know that I would want to permanently trade lives with anyone. However, I would love to temporarily trade lives with the richest of the rich, the poorest of the poor, the happiest person in the world, the saddest person in the world, etc. I would want to do this so that I could genuinely understand what other people experience.
Do you believe in God?: I acknowledge the possibility of a god and try and live my life as if there is. However, I don’t really believe that any one religious faith has all the answers and is completely correct. I think religion should be more about spirit and soul, and less about tradition and formalities.
How old do I want to be when I get married?: I do want to get married. However, I don’t think that there is any particular age when I want to do so. I think as long as I and my future wife are responsible enough to really understand the commitment we are making and the obstacles in life we will face, age doesn’t really matter.
What do I want to be remembered for?:As cliché as it sounds, I want to be remembered for making a positive impact in people’s lives. I want to be remembered for being caring, selfless, always helpful, etc. Basically I want to be remembered for displaying the best qualities of being human. Of course, as I am just human, I don’t know if this will really happen, but I like to think it will.
Have you had any life changing experiences?: I’ve had a thousand life changing experiences. Different people I’ve met, trips I’ve taken, books I’ve read, etc. have all influenced the way I live my life today. However, if I had to pick the strongest influence, I would say just the time goofing off with and getting to know various people throughout my college life has made me a completely different person today than I used to be.
Who has helped me the most in my life?: I’ve had a few friends in my life who have really helped me out through difficult times.
Where do I want to be in 30 years?: I don’t care where I am or what I am doing as long as I am healthy, happy, and I have a good family to share it with.
How I met him:We met when we were thrown together in a group of students who went on an alternative spring break to San Diego, California. While we were there we worked with homeless and street kids in a shelter called Stand Up for Kids. We got to talk a little a long the way but we never really got to know very well. I have a lot of respect for him and how he lives his life.
